The utterly ruthless 3D Dice Game
"The odds are against you. Heavily against you. Danger threatens from all sides. You're hanging by a thread. Teetering on the edge. There's only one thing for it: Panic....No. Bad idea. You compose yourself and carefully select a dice. Nothing short of a miracle will do now. With an unmistakable sense of apprehension, you roll the dice. It wobbles menacingly along the table and stops. You stare at it in disbelief. A miracle! A deep frown has wrinkled your opponent's face. You know exactly how it feels. But suddenly you're rather enjoying it...." About the game: Rough Justice is a knife-edge game of ruthlessness and cunning with only one route to victory - playing dirty! It's a dice game unlike all others. On each turn there is a simple decision to make: should you improve your own position or sabotage the opposition? Either way, you can expect to be on the receiving end of some fairly devious tactics so there's not the slightest reason for you to be decent...... Who is the game suitable for?Rough Justice is a little more difficult than some games and it is aimed at adults or children aged fourteen and over. It is a dice game played on a board by two players and it comes ready to play with everything you need included in the box. Contents include sixteen white spot dice, sixteen black spot dice, unique Rough Justice board and rules. Click the picture below to see a low resolution box photo
Player Reviews: "Rough Justice is simply a great game. It's easy to learn the basics and yet you realize that no one game is the same as the next. One minute you are seeking to get your dice on the board to score as many points as you can; the next you are trying to thwart your opponents attempt to finish first or beat you to the maximum points on a high scoring square. The game is flexible as you can agree what score is needed to win and because part of the game is based on the roll of the dice, no matter how confident you are on your tactics, you are never guaranteed to triumph at the end of the day. This is a game for all ages. It's a great travel game because of it's compact size. It's also great for filling those half-an-hour "what shall we do?" moments that life is so full of! I would highly recommend it. Submitted by NP "Rough Justice - two started playing, but it became a two team event. Definitely a counting mind game, along the lines of backgammon. We tried to predict what the opposition would do with their numbers and gambled when we couldn't guarantee a stack would be ours. Became quite addictive as we worked out what to look for in order to predict the next move. I'd recommend it for adults, but children would probably find it easy to get to grips with - on a dominoes basis. Very straight forward rules and pieces and therefore easy to understand, just not to win!" Submitted by: JL "A thinking person's game. We played it after dinner and after a few drinks which make it all great fun. strangely, those with the clearest heads played the best, but what the heck.....it was fun fun and did I mention fun all round!! A definite stocking filler." Submitted by RB "I played with my 80 year old mother first time around. Initially she moaned that I must be playing using the wrong rules, but it eventually became obvious to her, what she had to do, and with the place of her last four dice, she ending up winning by over 20 points. With a wicked smile she said can we play again!!" Submitted by Gooner Jo
