MORE GUESS WHAT - THE NEXT LEVEL UP
More Guess What
Want to step up a level ? This is for you !
How it works: Everyone gathers round the TV with a score sheet and pen at the ready. The first thing you see on screen is a blank screen. Little by little a hidden image gradually appears on screen. As the round progresses more of the hidden image becomes visible and by the end of the round, the picture is completely revealed.
Everyone plays at once. The aim of the game is to guess what the hidden image is as quickly as you can and ideally faster than the other players. The earlier you guess, the more points you score. It's pretty simple in theory but in reality it's astonishingly difficult to beat your opponents - here are some of the reasons why:
We've used all kinds of trick photography and special effects to spice things up a bit. A lot actually. In fact, the simple task of identifying everyday objects is suddenly a whole lot trickier and more fun than you ever thought possible. We used unusual camera angles, odd lighting and lots more that we're not going to mention now.
With 160 different images on the DVD, there is approximately five hours worth of uproarious fun on the disk before any image repeats.
"Instant party fun on DVD"
This game is totally new and a really good laugh to play. It's amazingly simple to operate, no special equipment needed (other than a normal DVD player).
Price: £9.99 For ages: 6 to adult.
Here are some questions that we're often asked:
How many pictures come on the disc ? 160.
Are all the photos different ? Yes.
Are there instructions on the disc ? Yes.
How many people do you need for a game ? Two or more. Any age. The more the merrier.
Surely people can just cheat ? Happily cheating is impossible.
So have I got this right ? The first person to shout out the answer wins ? No, you have to write down your answer as soon as you're ready to make your guess. Everyone writes down their answer. At the end of each round, each person scores as many points as were available at the moment they guessed. So you're all playing at once and you're all trying to guess the same thing. The person who's fastest overall will win.
How long does a game last ? The pictures come in groups of 8 which takes about 15 - 20 minutes to play. If you want to play for longer, just play another group!
What are the DVD specs ? It is designed for use in the UK and Europe. If you're planning to use the game in the USA or Canada, you'll need to play it on a computer or laptop instead of a television.
Surely once you've seen the photos then you'll remember them ? Yes, that's right but actually the 160 photos on the disc is a lot and it will take most people an age to get through them all.
